Bee bath with potion from local herbs and honey on top of the beeswaxed column.

The Honey Fountain is a standing sculpture conceived with Pablo Bolumar for Panal, an exhibition about beeswax in Lugar Usual Mexico City. Made of beeswaxed canvas, the brown column sustains a stainless steel plate filled with a honey potion, which human and insect visitors can drink from. Taking inspiration from the water containers that beekeepers prepare for their bees, a volcanic rock was placed in the center of the plate, allowing insects to stand on it without drowning.
